1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the website at vaxmanbookkeeping.com. By using the site, you agree to them. Services engagements are governed by a separate written agreement between us and the client.

2. Scope of services

We offer bookkeeping, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit-card reconciliation, financial reporting, and cleanup/catch-up work. We are not certified public accountants and do not prepare or file tax returns, perform audits or attestation, or provide tax, legal, or investment advice. For those services, we are happy to work alongside your licensed CPA or attorney.

3. No guarantee of specific outcomes

We perform our work with professional care and diligence, but the accuracy of your books depends on the completeness and accuracy of the information and documents you provide. We do not guarantee any particular financial, tax, or business outcome.

4. Phone line and messaging

You may call or text us at (951) 514-9294. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages. Information provided by phone or text is general in nature and is not professional, tax, legal, or financial advice, and a conversation does not create a client engagement. 5. Website use

Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it or misuse the contact form. Content on the site is for general information and does not constitute professional advice.

5a. Client portal

The client portal is available by invitation to current clients. By using it you agree to the following:

• Account security: keep your password confidential and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your login. Sign-in uses two-step email verification; choosing "Remember me" trusts your device for 7 days, so only use it on devices you control. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Your uploads: only upload documents related to the services we provide you, and only documents you have the right to share. Do not upload malicious files or unlawful content.
• Online payments: bill payments are processed by CPACharge, an 8am company and third-party payment processor, subject to its terms. We do not store your card or bank details. By submitting a payment, you authorize the displayed charge or bank debit. Paying a bill online has the same effect as any other payment method.
• Availability: we may suspend or modify the portal for maintenance or security reasons, and may revoke access when an engagement ends. Documents remain available on request.

6. No warranty

The website is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vaxman Bookkeeping LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Liability for any services engagement is governed by the separate agreement for that engagement.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
